MAC Equipment, Inc. (“MAC”) is a Kansas City based manufacturer of material handling (pneumatic conveying) and industrial air filtration equipment for process-based manufacturing environments.

The principals of TGP worked with MAC during their tenure at George K. Baum Merchant Banc, LLC from 1998 through 2007.  The MAC transaction represented a majority purchase from the founding family shareholders.

The management team of MAC was able to improve manufacturing efficiency and capacity through process changes and capital expenditures aimed at increasing automation.  Furthermore, more effective sales leadership helped MAC improve its’ sales channel penetration and market presence.  These changes allowed MAC to achieve record sales from 2004 to 2006.  In 2007, MAC was acquired by Clyde Process Solutions.
